With the Tech women’s basketball program recently falling its lofty standards — the Lady Techsters missed the NCAA Tournament the last two seasons — Weatherspoon has returned to Ruston as an associate head coach, intent on injecting the same sense of toughness into the program that she exuded as a player from 1984-88.
